Program
The Powell River Chamber of Commerce partnered with Community
Futures Development Corporation and Peak Publishing, operate
the Customer Service Recognition Program. This community-based program
recognizes excellent and outstanding customer service within the Powell
River region.

Past Winners
To be efficient and effective in customer service is a major step to
success for any business. Courteous, helpful, professional people are
essential in the business community to sustain economic growth. As an
employer or employee, it is necessary to be a role model for excellent
service within any company and it’s community. Teamwork and constant
effort convey genuine service; therefore, recognizing and rewarding
exceptional service is a key element in the success of any business
community.
Ballot forms to nominate businesses can be completed On-line , are
distributed throughout the community and are also available at:

Peak Publishing
via email and fax.
Customers' completed ballots are to be submitted by mail, fax, or
dropped of at the Chamber office. We also ask businesses to let us know when/if
completed ballots need to be picked up. Along with the ballot forms,
every participating business is receiving a vinyl door sticker that asks
“How did we do today?”
One ballot will be drawn randomly and the winner will be announced at
our luncheon meetings (generally monthly). The winner will be recognized
in four ways:
The winning business/employee will be announced and presented with an
engraved plaque at the next chamber luncheon. An announcement and
photograph will be added to the Winners Page on this website,
placed in the Chamber of Commerce newsletter and in the Peak newspaper. A press
release announcing the wining business/employee will be sent to the
Eagle FM Radio, Magic AM 1280, Jump Radio and Shaw TV 4.
We believe that this program will generate a renewed sense of respect
and appreciation towards our business community thereby providing
excellent customer service for all. We encourage Powell Riverites to
shop locally, boosting local economic growth. If you have any questions
