These awards recognize the efforts and accomplishments of our local business community in sixteen categories.

We Celebrate the Business Successes in our Community.

We encourage you to nominate a business or person for our next awards. You will find the categories and criteria here to help you in your nominations. A business must be established (operating to the public) for at least 12 months to be eligible for any of the awards. You may nominate a person or business in more than one category, however multiple nominations for the same business in the same category is not necessary. We do not use a popularity system but rather an independent judging panel who review all submissions with equal consideration.

We have 16 categories to recognize business excellence in our community:
Entrepreneur, New Business, Aboriginal Business, Not-for-Profit Business,

Tourism, Sustainability, Customer Service, Hospitality Customer Service,
Employer of the Year, Employee of the Year, and Business Excellence Award.
